Dr. Ronen Tal-Botzer is an Artificial Intelligence entrepreneur, with strong background in business, technology and pedagogy.
For the past 15 years Ronen has been a data science lecturer at Bar-Ilan University (Israel), focusing specifically on biological and nedical challenges. For the past 3 years he is also the director of the Genomics and Biomedical Informatics program. This is a joint program by Bar-Ilan University and The Sheba Medical Center. The program teaches physicians the relevant computer science curriculum to make personalized medicine possible.
From the business angle, Ronen is the founder and CEO of Sense, an Artificial Intelligence enterprise. Sense develops a breakthrough technology for providing its users with professional judgement and personalized feedback on programming codes. The product is currently used in numerous educational and corporate settings. Prior to Sense, Ronen founded and served as the CTO of Correlor Technologies, an Artificial Intelligence-based Web personalization company that analyzes social networks.
Ronen graduated Summa cum Laude with a double major in Computer Science and Biology from Bar-Ilan University. He later pursued a direct Ph.D. track in Artificial Intelligence, where he was the recipient of the President’s scholarship and Chancellor Prize for excellence in research. In 2007 he was chosen by the World’s Life Sciences Forum as one of the 100 promising young scientists in the world.
