Caroline Cheung-Yiu is the President of Allied Intrade Inc. a manufacturer’s liaison firm assisting U.S. medical device companies in the market sectors of diagnostics, and therapeutics, with implementing their China manufacturing strategies since 1986. Caroline’s career in marketing, project and event management spans two decades in both U.S.A. and Asia-Pacific markets.
Caroline has been a speaker on topics of international trade and manufacturing at the San Diego Inventors Forum, Del Mar Electronic Show, Cal State San Marcos and Mira Costa College. Active within the local life sciences community, she has served as a judge at Biocom’s Medical Device and Diagnostic Expo Awards, Co-chair of the program committee at Device Alliance and Co-chair/Chair of the Medical Device and Diagnostic Forum committee at Sino-American Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Professionals Association.
In 2014, the sixth year of relentlessly seeking a diagnosis for her son’s progressive neurodegenerative condition, she established the San Diego Undiagnosed Family Support Group to connect families lacking a diagnosis for their child and empowering them with local resources to forge ahead in their diagnostic odyssey.
