Looking for our 2016 Abstract Competition Winners? See them here!

Your abstract may be a critical contribution to the learning experience and sharing that will make this conference a success for everyone! A wide variety of submissions are accepted. These can be completed works, works in progress, or even a project idea. In other words, even if you simply have an idea about artificial intelligence in medicine, you can submit the idea!

Abstract submissions should be 250 – 500 words excluding title, author and institution. To encourage participation, abstracts may be submitted based on:

  • Completed Work: includes background, method, results and conclusions
  • Work-In-Progress: includes background and method, with or without initial results
  • Project Concepts: includes background and ideas (no data necessary)

They should be relevant to one of the six themes of the conference:

  • Decision Support and Hospital Monitoring
  • Medical Imaging and Biomedical Diagnostics
  • Precision Medicine and Drug Discovery
  • Cloud Computing and Big Data
  • Digital Medicine and Wearable Technology
  • Robotic Technology and Virtual Assistants

The abstract submission deadline is November 1, 2017. We will notify successful submissions by November 15, 2017. If your submission is accepted, you will be required to register for the conference; however, your registration fee will be waived. You may submit more than one abstract. For complimentary registration and entry to the abstract contest, you must submit your abstract(s) before the deadline.

Accepted Abstracts

  • Accepted abstracts receive complimentary registration to the entire conference
  • All accepted abstracts will be displayed during an ePoster presentation on December 13, 2017
  • Extended abstracts will be published on the website

(Travel & accommodations do not apply to local abstract winners.)

All Abstracts (Completed Works/Works-in-Progress/Project Concepts) will be peer-reviewed and selected for presentation at the conference. Submission does not guarantee selection.

We recommend you prepare your submittal responses prior to initiating the on-line submission process. Due to security reasons, once you start the application, you will be required to complete the entire form before logging out. Preparing your abstract description beforehand will ensure you are able to make a successful submission based upon the application guidelines.
